Peter Weller, 'Robocop' Star, Joins 'Star Trek 2'
Remember: wherever Peter Weller goes, there he's. Deadline has reported the star of sci-fi classics like 'The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Over the Eighth Dimension!' and 'Robocop' has became a member of the cast of J.J. Abrams' approaching 'Star Trek' follow up within an unspecified role. Weller were built with a very busy 2010, guest-starring on 'Dexter,' 'Psych' and 'Fringe,' the Abrams-produced sci-fi analysis show on Fox. So when he isn't busy acting (or serving the best Directive), he's busy teaching at Syracuse College and generating a Ph. D in Italian Renaissance art history at UCLA. Casting news for part two continues to be warming up previously couple of days using the gossips that Alice Eve may have the feminine lead, and Benicio Del Toro may be the villain, however it certainly will not be Khan. Trekkies is going to be quick to indicate that Weller made an appearance on 'Enterprise' as Ernest Paxton, the commander of the moon-based colony, who brought an offer to kick all extraterrestrials from Earth. Fans however, most likely should not expect him to reprise the role, thinking about these new movies are centered on restarting the huge 'Star Trek' mythology. So Spock can relaxation easy on that certain. The still-untitled 'Star Trek' follow up will not get to theaters until May 27, 2013 -- sufficient time to obtain really impatient.
