Youthful ankles as Taormina fest topper

ROME -- U.S. film critic Deborah Youthful has ankled as artistic director of Italy's Taormina Film Festival. Throughout her 5 years at Taormina's helm Youthful increased the respected Sicily-based fest's profile, which makes it a summer time showcase for movies in the Mediterranean basin, whilst boosting its Hollywood star-energy wattage with visitors for example Robert P Niro, Jessica Lange and Oliver Stone. Youthful is walking lower because of variations using the fest's board, motivated by budget cuts in the Sicilian shindig, that is among Italy's earliest film occasions.
